Streaming platforms are notorious for their lack of transparency, allowing them to quote numbers that are tough to verify. Ormax Media, a media consulting firm, however, has been tracking viewership figures of the top releases across major platforms.

Here’s a list of the most-viewed shows and movies from the Indian streaming space between November 6th and November 12th, 2023. The numbers are estimates based within India, and only include Hindi streaming releases. 

1. Temptation Island India - JioCinema

Views (million): 8.4

In the Indian version of the popular American reality dating show, couples test the strength of their relationship by surrounding themselves with attractive strangers on a tropical island.

2. Koffee With Karan S8 - Disney+ Hotstar

Views (million): 6.2

Karan Johar, aka the internet’s favourite Koffee Konnoisseur, is back with Season 8 of his contentious talk show. Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday were the latest guests of the season.

3. Scam 2003 - The Telgi Story: Volume 2 - SonyLIV

Views (million): 5.4

The second part of Hansal Mehta’s Scam 2003 returns after the successful first part was released nearly two months ago. It tells the story of ingenious scammer Abdul Karim Telgi.

4. Aarya Season 3 - Disney+ Hotstar

Views (million): 5.2

In this crime-thriller drama, Sushmita Sen is Aarya, a woman whose life is turned upside down, and who would do anything to protect her children.

5. Aspirants Season 2 - Amazon Prime Video

Views (million): 3.6

According to series director Apoorv Singh Karki, “Aspirants 2 takes the characters forward and dives deep into the world of UPSC prep.” Created by The Viral Fever, the show explores the many challenges faced by exam aspirants.
