Streaming platforms are notorious for their lack of transparency, allowing them to quote numbers that are tough to verify. Ormax Media, a media consulting firm, however, has been tracking viewership figures of the top releases across major platforms.

Here’s a list of the most-viewed shows and movies from the Indian streaming space between January 29th and Feb 4th, 2023. The numbers are estimates based within India, and only include Hindi streaming releases. 

1. Indian Police Force - Amazon Prime Video

Views (million): 4.1

Rohit Shetty’s blockbuster cop-verse forays into the streaming space with this police procedural action thriller series starring Siddharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi. Malhotra plays DCP Kabir Malik battling a dangerous terrorist.
